Making Home offers a variety of services to meet our clients needs. From a re-fresh of your current decor to full renovation project management, we have all the tools and expertise to make your dreamhome come true!
The Process
Discovery
Initial phone conversation where we briefly discuss what you're looking for and the ways Making Home can be of service. We will schedule an in-home appointment or site visit at this time.
Design Consultation
This gives Making Home a chance to see and feel the space. We will discuss deeper your likes and dislikes, how you desire the space to be used, and get an understanding of the scope of the work. Up to 90 minutes.
Design Plan
This step will be individual to the client based on the services desired from Making Home. It may be a digital drawing of the space for a renovation, a design board with materials/furnishings to be used , or a combination of both. Usually, this is presented through email and changes can be made
until you love every detail.
Estimate/Proposal
Once the design plan is agreed upon, Making Home will create an estimate and/or proposal that outlines the amount Making Home expects the project to cost as well as the compensation to Making Home for all services desired. Once the design plan and budget align, and you and Making Home agree to move forward, all parties will sign a design/renovation contract and a percentage of the project cost will be due to start the scheduling of sub-contractors and/or procuring of materials.
What is Project Management?
Making home will handle every detail of the renovation....
- Prepping your home for demolition. This may involve installing paper and plastic on your floors and doorways, creating a clear path from renovation space to outside, arrange delivery of dumpster or trailer for debris.
- Obtain quotes, negotiate, hire, schedule, meet at job site, communicate, and pay all vendors and tradespeople.
- Purchase, Order, Receive, Store, Assemble, Deliver, and Style all design and decorative elements.
- Overall supervise every stage and detail to insure the design plan is maintained and achieved, as well as the quality of craftsmanship Making Home is known for.

Jennifer has a passion for homes and the potential of what they all can be! Be it the house with builder grade finishes, outdated choices from long ago, or that original farm house with a floorplan that no longer makes sense for the way we live today, they all deserve to be seen in their best light, to be brought back to life and become a reflection of those that call it home.
When designing a space, her goal is beautiful style meets function. She loves using a mixture of textures, colors, and patterns to add warmth and personality. No matter the space she is tasked with transforming, she thinks of homes as a whole so that each space blends effortlessly to the next. With each project, she makes a point to get to know all family members hobbies and interest in an effort to create a unique personalized touch.
